The Eternal Student

      I have been so preoccupied by grad school, which I still haven’t made a decision about, that I haven’t even mentioned the fact that I’m headed to Spain for 10 days! That’s right, I’m going to Spain. Actually I’m headed to Spain and Africa in one trip. I couldn’t be any more excited. I’m even more excited that I’ve heard from two of the schools before I actually go. I’ve had this recurring nightmare that I was going to get all my acceptance letters while I was in Spain. That would suck.

     It’s going to be a blast. There are 12 of us going in our group from the High School so we’ll probably be put with another group about our size.  We’re going to land in Madrid, travel south to the coast, visit Morocco Africa, and then travel up the east part of the country to Barcelona where we fly home from.  I’ve wanted to go back to a Spanish speaking country ever since I came back from living in Ecuador.
