Random

As the title says, this blog is going to be completely random. Nothing monumental has happened I want to blog about so I’m just going to ramble.

Right now I’m proctoring my students as they take a test in Spanish class. Yeah for me! Really my problem is that I’m checked out mentally. I wasn’t even like this my senior year of high school.  I’m just so excited to go to Oklahoma State and work on my PhD I just want to pack up the house and go.  I am trying hard though to finish out what needs to be done.

The house is a whole other story though.  We dropped the price of the house, but that was a week and a half ago and no one has been through the house in that time. I’m really worried that we won’t be able to sell the house in time before we need to move. I really can’t afford to be paying on this house and not have a full time job.

On another note, the boys are being really fun right now. Cameron is crawling better and better every day. Though he never really moves much at a time, if you look away he’ll all of a sudden be on the opposite side of the room.  He’s like superman; pretends to be slow until you look away. Kevin is learning more and more everyday, and asks lots of questions.      – “Dad, what’s that?”  – A screwdriver  – “Oh, a screwdriver!”

It’s adorable. He asks Catherine and I questions he knows about as well. Like asking us what colors things are, or what letter that is.  He loves to see signs around town and point out letters in the signs. “Look daddy, an A”. It’s all adorable.

Catherine and I planted part of the garden this last week. We started early, and our plants got too big for our green house and most ended up dying. We planted what was left over and need to plant some more stuff as well. Lots of corn. I’m not sure we’ll get to eat any of it, but at least it makes us happy. Catherine loves to garden, or anything else emergency preparedness wise, so it’s at least fun.
